Five years ago, we launched HOLT, our AI-driven counter-fraud technology designed specifically for the insurance sector. The purpose of HOLT was to significantly improve claims handling and fraud detection for insurers by embedding a lawyer’s ‘brain’ into the process, alongside the claims expertise and requirements of each individual insurer client, driving consistent handling, every time.
To date HOLT has processed over 25,000 claims and reached a huge milestone having delivered (pre-litigation) savings of £50 million to our clients.
Claims processing times have been dramatically shortened – from 30 minutes to 30 seconds, litigation rates have been cut by up to 70% and litigation leakage has been significantly reduced.
Fraud detection has increased by up to 500% for some insurers through our strategies across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
HOLT continues to grow and deliver outstanding benefits to insurers and their customers, now embedded with many major insurers and broadening in scope to cover dozens of different types of claim, most recently expanding rapidly to successfully help insurers challenge the endemic of non-tariff injury claims quickly and consistently.
