Partners Max Withington and Darren Mendel co-chaired the forum – first established in 2015 – which is marketed as an opportunity for credit hire specialists to gain insight into the very latest issues facing the sector, and informally network with other insurance professionals.
Our recent Credit Hire Forum, an annual round table discussion for those working in the sector, was the best attended event yet as some 50 delegates gathered at Manchester’s Malmaison Hotel.
Partners Max Withington and Darren Mendel co-chaired the forum – first established in 2015 – which is marketed as an opportunity for credit hire specialists to gain insight into the very latest issues facing the sector, and informally network with other insurance professionals.
The latest event included a session on intervention led by Simon Ross (pictured above) of Zenith Chambers, who sits as a District Judge, where he gave invaluable insight into how the court considers evidence and issues on intervention. Partners Anna Poynton and Rick Preston presented an interactive session on Costs and Car Wash respectively, and Senior Associate Graeme Mulvoy spoke about claims hijacking.
Clients attending represented almost 20 UK insurers with one describing the event as “superb”, and another telling us how impressed they were by the “informative speakers who were all specialists in their fields”.
