With a desire to change the way litigation was traditionally dealt with in Northern Ireland and an aim to modernise the way cases are handled, we opened our first office in the Province in August 2018 with Partner, Matthew Fitzpatrick, at the helm.
Our Northern Ireland team has moved to prestigious new offices in Urban HQ as new work continues to flow into Belfast.
Horwich Farrelly are delighted to announce that our Northern Ireland office has moved to bigger premises from April 1 due a continued influx of new work and new insurer clients.
With a desire to change the way litigation was traditionally dealt with in Northern Ireland and an aim to modernise the way cases are handled, we opened our first office in the Province in August 2018 with Partner, Matthew Fitzpatrick, at the helm.
Since then however, and with a number of new insurance specialists recruited to meet demand, the firm’s NI presence has outgrown its current premises and the move to Urban HQ in Upper Queen Street is a welcome one.
Matthew Fitzpatrick said: “To say I am delighted with the progress Horwich Farrelly Northern Ireland has made since opening three years ago would be an understatement. We are well on the way to achieving our goals of changing the way litigation is dealt with here and our clients feel the same as the continued increase in work shows.
“We have maintained this trajectory even during the Covid-19 lockdown and, with the move to Court hearings being dealt with remotely, we thought it prudent to team up with Urban HQ and their ultra-modern facilities so that we can continue to be at the forefront of innovation in Northern Ireland.
“As Horwich Farrelly has shown in England & Wales, and latterly Scotland too, our aim was to build on the firm’s reputation so that we became the insurers’ solicitors of choice in Northern Ireland.
“Our innovative thinking, agility and ability to thrive in such difficult times has proven this is the case and the move and expansion is tantamount to the hard work of all the employees of Horwich Farrelly Northern Ireland.”
Urban HQ’s Operations Director, Donna Daniels, said: “We are fast becoming the place to be for professional services in Belfast, so are delighted to welcome Horwich Farrelly as a new Urban HQ member. As one of Northern Ireland’s fastest growing insurance solicitors, they are true specialists, focused on providing legal and associated services to clients in the general insurance sector.”
Adding that he was confident their new offices at Urban HQ will enable the firm to continue to gain successful results at Court – and once the Covid19 restrictions are eased – Matthew Fitzpatrick said: “We look forward to welcoming our insurer client’s to Urban HQ for training and meeting the growing team at Horwich Farrelly Northern Ireland.”
