In December 2020, HF brought in a number of dispute resolution, debt recovery and insolvency and restructuring lawyers and its commercial legal services division was born.
Since then, the commercial division has contributed revenue of c£11.5m and has this year had a record year billing c.£5m.
Ronan McCann says “it has been particularly pleasing to see the commercial division going from strength to strength and doubling in size since it was first established in December 2020. The growth has primarily been achieved through the success of our contentious teams, the addition of a corporate team and planned expansion of our property offering as we transition to a full service law firm and build on HF’s reputation as a great place to work.
We anticipate growing strongly in 2024/2025 through a mixture of M & A activity and further lateral hires as we strive to achieve our £100m revenue target by 2026”.
