Horwich Farrelly are again celebrating after its claims product, HOLT, won yet another prestigious industry award this week!
HOLT (Horwich Farrelly’s Online Litigation Triage) is our sector-defining counter-fraud solution, which allows insurers to quickly and automatically assess whether claims should be challenged. In the short time since its creation, HOLT has triaged thousands of claims and helped our insurer clients save millions of pounds.
Fresh from winning another award only last month (Fraud Technology Solution of the Year at the Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Awards), HOLT has now added the Excellence in Technology – Claims (Data & Reporting) award at the prestigious Insurance Times Awards in London last night (Thursday 9 December). This latest award caps off a period of unprecedented success for HOLT as, in the past 12 months alone, it has been nominated for 17 industry awards.
Speaking on their selection, the judges who assessed HOLT against four other shortlisted firms/products stated that it was; “A good business model and a proven, strong solution that showcased a positive impact on fraud detection and claims handling times. The winner has been an early adopter of workflow and decision engine technology.”
Reflecting on yet another win for this ground-breaking product, David Scott, Partner and Head of Innovation and Client Solutions said: “HOLT continues to set the benchmark when it comes to fraud detection, and I’m delighted that the Insurance Times have recognised its value to the industry. This award reflects the considerable amount of work our Counter Fraud, Intelligence and IT teams have invested in this market-leading innovation. It is also especially pleasing that this award identifies the benefit of HOLT not only as a triage tool – but as a tool that collates and reports on actionable data.”
Ronan McCann, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at Horwich Farrelly, added: “I am really proud of what we are achieving at Horwich Farrelly – and I’m delighted that our dedicated teams across the business are getting the industry recognition that they deserve. Looking back on the past few months, we’ve been recognised as the ‘Most Innovative Firm of the Year’ at the British Legal Technology Awards 2021, we’ve produced the best claims data & reporting tool according to the Insurance Times and, potentially of most importance, our IT team have been awarded ‘Security Team of the Year’ (also at the British Legal Technology Awards 2021). My congratulations goes out to everyone involved, and I cant wait to see what 2022 has in store!”
