The new appointments also illustrate the firm’s strategy of expanding its expertise across its network of offices. Of the 19 new associates, 14 have been appointed in Manchester, two each in Liverpool and London, and one in Sheffield.

The promotions reflect the firm’s wide-ranging legal expertise with new roles created in counter fraud, motor & casualty, intelligence services, recoveries and credit hire thereby ensuring the business retains a wealth of talent to drive future success.

Effective from 1 December 2017, these new appointments demonstrate Horwich Farrelly’s dedication to helping its 750 employees develop their careers and reach their potential within the firm, and come after the firm was recognised for its unique approach to performance management.

“This is the highest number of promotions we’ve had in a single round, and takes our total number of associates to 56,” comments Ronan McCann, Partner of Horwich Farrelly. “And, importantly, these appointments illustrate the success of our associate development scheme, which focuses on nurturing talent from inside the firm, and building strength and commitment within our teams.
