Steven is a Partner in HF's Property Risks & Coverage team, with over 15 years' experience dealing with property-related insurance claims. He undertakes all aspects of property damage work, with a focus on policy coverage and high value subrogated recovery and liability claims.

He has built a reputation as a technically-skilled lawyer, who always gives prompt, practical advice (often on difficult or high-profile cases). His coverage experrise is varied and includes advising on Financial Ombudsman Service complaints, property fraud, and policy wording review/drafting.

Steven was heavily involved as an adviser to several leading insurers on business interruption claims during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He has considerable experience of mediation and regularly prepares and delivers bespoke training for clients.
